If you are travelling on the A4 (Venice - Milan) we recommend to exit at VERONA SUD. Fair is 2/3 minutes away. City center 10 minutes away.
If you are travelling on the A22 (Brennero-Modena) we recommend to exit at VERONA NORD. Follow directions to "VERONA CENTRO" or "FIERA" (fair).

How far is Verona airport (Valerio Catullo) from the city centre and which is the cheapest way to reach Verona City Centre?

The airport is 12 km from the city centre. If you are travelling by car, a free motorway connects the airport to the centre. If you do not have a private or rented car, you can either take a shuttle bus to the main central station (Price approx EURO 4.50) and then take a local bus to your final destination (Price approx EURO 1.20). Alternatively, you can take a taxi. Usually the taxi price stands between 25/35 EURO.

There is a train service from Verona Main Station to Milan (Milano Centrale). Trains leave every day approx every hour.
However, if you are travelling by car, you can easily reach Milan on the Highway A4. Milan is 165 km from Verona - it will take approx 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Is Rome far away from Verona? How can I travel to Rome?

Verona is 500 km from Rome. There are frequent flights from Verona Airport. Low cost flights are also available.
You could even take a fast train that allows you to reach Rome within 3 hours, with a single stop over in Bologna. If you are travelling by car, take the A22 and then the A1 - south.
